A simple look on Rubber Moulding

Have you ever heard about Rubber Moulding? As the name implies, its made of Rubber. According to the different mould techniques and structures, this mould can be separated into few types, such as pressing die, injection mould, extrusion mould and in addition to this, there are also some other varieties like rubber dip mould, inflatable mould and so on.

General die comes first in the pressing die variety. Semi-furnished rubber is the major material involved in this mould and it processed through mixing which is a kind of rubber manufacturing technique. This technique helps in mixing up of all kind of ingredients and it improves the rubber’s plasticity and flow properties. Once this semi-furnished rubber is put into die, pressurization and heating up of the die in the plate vulcanizing machine will take place to get a mould.

The other type in die-casting is called Transfer-type Mould. The key material is slab rubber or semi-furnished rubber. This material is put into the cavity of the mould and the pressure squeezes the sizing material which is then entering into the moulded foam through pouring system. After all, it is moulded and this has some special features because it is more complex than normal die and has excellent consistency and is very applicable for complex rubber products.

Hence, rubber moulding manufacturers have outstanding opportunities in producing high quality components with maximum durability and flexibility for servicing to leading manufacturing industries around the world.
